History of Günter Meier Innenausbau GmbH
1972: Günter Meier takes over carpentry business, which was founded by Adolf Meier
1973: Expansion of services from pure carpentry to interior construction. Installation of suspended ceilings. Appointment of 3 installers
1976: First major order - installation of around 55,000 m² mineral fibre ceiling for a textiles factory in Iraq. Workforce around 15 people
1979: Second major order - installation of around 22,000 m² mineral fibre ceiling for an airport in Moscow. Workforce around 20 people
1980: Installation of plasterboard stud partitions as a new service area
1982: Relocation of the business headquarters to a new office building in Lehnstraße 10 a. Rent of around 500 m² warehouse space.
1988: Acquisition of additional operating space in Lehnstraße. Commissioning an additional warehouse of around 450 m².
1989: Transformation of the sole proprietorship to a GmbH (German limited liability company) on acquisition of the operating equipment. Director and shareholder is the previous company owner, Günter Meier. Workforce of 25 installers. 1 office worker and 1 site manager
1997: Appointment of son, Nils Meier as an additional office worker.
1999: Appointment of son, Rene Meier as an additional office worker.
2005: Appointment of the sons, Rene and Nils Meier as additional directors.
2012: Günter Meier retires from the company management and continues to serve the company as an advisor.
